Restaurant Openings

Eel Bar comes to the Lower East Side in New York - a Basque restaurant serving tapas and classic cocktails.

Frena, a modern Middle Eastern restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen recently opened, bringing fresh, bright decor and vibes with it.

Set in Grand Central Terminal, Grand Brasserie NYC just opened and very much lives up to its “grand” descriptor.

Located in Hotel Van Zandt in Austin, TX, the cocktail bar Brass Poppy will be making its debut in mid September.

Venice Beach’s newest restaurant is Paloma, a Mediterranean-inspired gem with lovely indoor and outdoor seating.

The newest Toca Madera just made its debut in Houston, TX.

Cecchi’s, a modern bar and grill, recently opened in New York City’s West Village.

Laya, a Mediterranean restaurant with a gorgeous outdoor patio, just recently opened in Hollywood, CA.

Hotel Openings

Hotel Yellowstone is Jackson, WY’s newest stunning resort to open in late summer.

The latest Trailborn boutique hotel just opened in Highlands, North Carolina and it is earthy and charming.

Westhampton Beach in New York welcomed their newest hotel: the charming Seven Beach Lane, a luxe yet cozy beach retreat.

While not new, the W Hollywood Hotel just completed a $25M renovation, and the lobby itself would be worth checking out.

While news is constantly dropping about new restaurant openings in every city, our goal is to keep it nice and niche to the places we would feature on Opulist and that would make you feel most excited and sparkly when you learn about it.
