Introducing San Diego’s Newest Hotel: Baby Grand

Incredibly excited to introduce you to San Diego’s newest maximalist gem: Baby Grand.
Oceanic design details are everywhere you look, rich marble, loud tapestries, and Roman statues make you feel as if you’ve entered another century, and perhaps one that only exists in your dreams.
Consortium Holdings’ second hotel project, Baby Grand, recently opened in Coronado, CA.
A fantastical, lush, opulent, maximalist boutique property with 31 rooms taking the place of an old motor inn. Within Baby Grand you’ll find their signature restaurant, Night Hawk, set up against rocks and underneath a jungle of tropical plants, with the grandiose tented bar as its centerpiece (don’t miss the completely mirrored bathrooms as well ;).
The restaurant is bordered by the intriguing wading pool with its sandy beach and vibrant chaise lounges. Following this back to the lobby you’ll find a second bar straight from a mermaid’s night out, then tucked behind the check-in desk is the wildly glamorous and shiny champagne and oyster bar, Fallen Empire.
An overall gem, and now on Opulist when searching for hotels in San Diego. Enjoy this visual gallery of this stunning space, and make sure to give it a warm welcome.
