This dark and intimate East Village speakeasy is heavily decorated with awards, and for good reason. It’s been one of New York’s top spots to get well-constructed cocktails for more than a decade, opening at the beginning of 2007.
While the decor is timeless Manhattan – exposed brick, low-slung tables, and a marble bar top – and the bartenders invoked days gone by in their bow ties and suspenders, the drinks have remained thoroughly modern, with a cocktail menu that changes twice a year.
